This was an interting short film. It is very touching to see someone lay there life down to save some people who did not even seem greatful. The song was very...odd to me for some reason
I have no idea.....The movie, however was very touching. It was very nice to see how that man was willing to go against the norm of society to help strangers who were regarded as nothing. Now that I think about it, maybe those responsible for the evil in the world are those who want to keep the world from having equality and peace amongst ALL people!
The devil is responsible for all the pain that has been able to exist. Yes, if our ancestors, Adam and Eve, stayed away from the forbidden fruit, we could have been kept clear of going through this sin. Thinking about that, we can just say that we too have apples in our lives. You can choose not to pick the life of a drunk or smoker off the tree of a worldly life.
By watching the video, the three men hunting down that one man didn't have to do what they did. They chose to be evil. It is our choice to do what we do against our conscience. Even more dramatizing to the scene is that the person helping the slaves to escape was a Confederate... just like the men who were going after him.
The evil in this world is what we make of it. Whether we choose the light or dark side determines the cruelity of the world. God told us it was never going to get better until he came with His glory. It is becoming the norm to be evil now, and if we don't watch out, our movies, music, and our "so called" friends can bring us down that path.
I'm not even going to lie, I teared up a bit. It was moving. I liked the song. And you asked Who is responsible for evil in our world? I think that everyone is. No one is willing to try and make anything better now a days. Some people are but that's the thing, not enough people are trying to make this world any better. Everyone is so stuck on themselves today that they can't see anything that is important. I think that if everyone stopped saying that they have a Christ like attitudes and started acting like it that the world could be a little better.
Ok, I do not agree that the devil is responsable for all the evil in the world. Yes, the devil is evil. But god created man with a choice. The devil choose to be jealous and leave heaven. As people we all haw a choice, reguardless of what the devil tempts us with. We can choose to be evil or good. We can choose who we listen to. I think humans, men and women are responsible for the evil in this world.
I liked the video. It saddens me to see what so many people had to go through to gain something that many now take for granted. It's impossible for me to imagine what life was like for the people in that time. I don't understand the intense hatred that so many whites had towards blacks (Africans/African-Americans/etc).
In an attempt to answer the question, I believe that sin began when Satan, then Lucifer, felt that God was being unfair. It wasn't that thought necessarily that made him sinful, but the fact that he shared it with others and brought them down with him.
All humans, since the fall of Adam and Eve, are born with a sinful, evil nature. Because of that, I don't believe that humans are responsible for evil. An infant that was born alcoholic is not responsible for becoming alcoholic. That was something they were born with, just like we are born with a sinful nature.
Yes, some people chose to live "evil" lives. They make choices that hurt others as well as themselves. Some people are just messed up. They, along with everyone else that has ever done something bad (that's everyone, btw) may add to the "evilness" of the world. However, I wouldn't hold them responsible for all evil. I believe that it is Satan who encourages and brings people to do evil things.
I see everyday that people choose what to look for in life, and most people choose to live a evil life. God created us to happy because he died for our sins. But I think the devil is making it hard on us to keep on trusting in the Lord knowing they are making it hard for themselves. This is a sad world, and people go through so much to get something and then it just gets thrown away .
