I definitely think that, as the signs say, rape is something to be taken seriously.
I can't help but wonder though, how many of those girls have PUT themselves in the situation to be raped? I mean, I know a lot of girls that are desperate for attention and would follow any guy obliviously wherever he wanted. While, yeah, it's the guy's fault (typically) for raping someone, I can't imagine it would happen if the girl was with a big group of friends.
Yale University's failure to fight this abuse against women is unacceptable. All United States citizens are supposed to be treated equally, no matter race, religion, or GENDER. These acts of sexual conduct are bad enough, but the university's refusal to doing something about it in wrong. This is, to some degree, a sexist move on the part of Yale. This is a form of intolerance and unfairness. The university needs to take a stand against this.
However, along the lines of what Keiko, I know that some girls on college campuses put themselves out to be taken advantage of. I know that there are a lot of sorority and fraternity parties that can cause a lot of misconduct, for example. Also, I think those who made the complaint should encourage other women not to put themselves in those precarious positions to make their plight more valid.

I may add more later.

This is a serious topic, but I don't really understand the point this article is trying to make. Its too short.
